Halloween

Really excited for Halloween this year, i'm planning on getting dressed up and going trick or treating, hopefully they won't think i'm too old!! I really want to go as a skeleton but how Lady Gaga has done her face in the Born this Way video, it looks quite complicated to do, but good old YouTube has loads of tutorials! I have the perfect blouse to go with the outfit and i'm sure i can find a bow tie! Miley Cyrus and Katy Perry look cool with their face paint on. 

 Also, my nails have been getting in the Halloween style, i love nail art and ordered some nail art brushes a few months ago and went through a stage obsessed with making them look extra cool. I hadn't designed them in a while so my friend helped me out and we did some Halloween style ones, they are really cool to look at and really easy to do. 

India

I've just found out I'm going to India for 5 days in 3 weeks time as my Mam's client has invited us over. I'm really excited as it somewhere I've always wanted to go and will be very different to the other places I've been on holiday. We are going during Diwali which sounds amazing and is the festival of light, i am also going to see the Taj Mahal which looks like such an amazing place. 

"Diwali" translates into "row of lamps". Diwali involves the lighting of small clay lamps filled with oil to signify the triumph of good over evil. These lamps are kept on during the night and one's house is cleaned, both done in order to make the goddess Lakshmi feel welcome. Firecrackers are burst in order to drive away evil spirits. During Diwali, all the celebrants wear new clothes and share sweets and snacks with family members and friends. 

I think this sounds such a nice thing to celebrate and is going to be an experience to look forward too, I'm excited to see what India is like. The only problem is buying summer clothes now its winter! I haven't got a lot of clothes that go past my knees which you have to wear over in their country, I'm going to take my maxi skirt and hopefully find a maxi dress and cardigans and tops to cover my shoulders, I'm definitely going to be getting a henna tattoo on my hand while I'm there, they are really pretty.

Winter Wish List

The winter is fast approaching us and so is Christmas, which is exciting. I'm usually not the biggest fan of the cold weather but living in England you seem to stop caring about it. To wrap up warm in the winter my favourite pieces are my Parker Coat, a warm hat, gloves and a pretty scarf. So I've been searching online for some winter clothes, here are my favourites: 

TOPSHOP 

Really love these dip-dye pieces especially the matching hat and scarf, so cute. I love the colours used on all of these pieces, very Autumn. 


H&M

H&M is one of my favourite shops as its cheap and you get some lovely stuff in, i'm really in love with the pink jumper on Lana Del Rey and i think i may love it even more now its been modelled on her, girl crush. I'm loving leather lately after i purchased my leather skirt i've been looking for more leather, it seems to go with anything, them leather trousers remind me of Grease! The little ankle boots are perfect for the winter. 

eBay

eBay is my favourite online shop, it's so cheap and i've become the queen of finding some bargains on it. I really want a fur coat this year, i think they are a perfect winter essential and they look nice with a nice dress/skirt and some thick tights. It's also a good place to get qwirky stuff like the jumper above, I love this Tom And Jerry jumper, it looks extra cosy. How perfect is this ring for Halloween, it's such a cool design. 

Cinema x 2

So i went to see Paranormal Activity 4 last night at the 11:20pm viewing, got to say going to the cinema that late is weird especially when the shopping centre is empty. I have never been so scared in my life, i sat front row which made the experience even more scarier. It is by far the scariest out of them all, they isn't really a build up to all the jumpy bits it's just begins straight away. I'd recommend going to see it if you have seen the rest of them, a horror film in the cinema is defiantly an experience. Me and my friends had to play some High School Musical songs on the way home to stop creeping ourselves out, which put me in the mood today to watch the first two High School Musical's, they will always be such good films whatever age you get!!

I'm so pleased i only have one week left of sixth form till the October half term, i am so ready for a rest. I'm tired of getting up early when its still dark and getting lots of work/stressing out over universities. But i'm expected a lot of work for over the hols *sigh*. However, i have a few things planned for the holiday's:

• Geeks Vs Freeks Sunderland Pub Crawl - 26th October
• Friends 18th night out - 27th October
• A 10 mile sponsored walk in memory of a past teacher
• Look for a job
• Hopefully get a Lucy Rose ticket
• Tidy room/change room round again!
• Hopefully beg someone to come trick or treating with me hahah

Recently just listened to all of Lucy Rose's album, she has such a nice voice and is really nice to relax too, also Lianne La Havas album is excellent.

Cinema

I went to see Taken 2 on Saturday, I really enjoyed it but got to say the first one is always the best. I would recommend anyone to go see it, Liam Neeson really is the coolest man and who wouldn't want him as your dad?

I'm off to see Paranormal Activity 4 on Friday and viewing the extra late showing at around 11pm, I will not be sleeping this weekend. I've heard it's a lot scarier than the rest of them, I'll be taking my big coat to hide behind. 

Jake Bugg

Jake Bugg is my new found love, I'm absolutely obsessed with his album and his voice is truly a raw talent. I would love to see him live and the fact he is only 18 years old and has already been on the Glastonbury introducing stage and supporting Noel Gallagher's High Flying Birds in the US, he is really going to be big!

Rihanna is definitely my girl crush, i love everything about her and i don't think she has had one bad song. I'd love to not be scared to change my hair the amount of times she does and be able to suit them. Her new hair do is so nice and she looked hot with her blonde hair, but my favourite still has to be her red hair. What's your favourite Rihanna style?

Also her new single 'Diamonds' is fab! Another good song from Rihanna! 

Only 5 months and 22 days!

Ok, I'm extra excited and have been counting down since last year, but it's only 5 months and 22 days till LAS VEGAS! I cannot wait, i keep seeing it on the TV and scream a little. I'm staying at the Mirage hotel which is where the Kardashians usually stay, I'd die if I saw them! I've just been looking at some pictures of places I really want to go in Vegas. I want to go to all the spots that are seen on the Hangover, especially Caesars Palace.
